Doctrine...
We
personally accept the Trinity as being God the Father, God the Son,
and God the Holy Spirit; and these three are one God, Creator of
heaven and earth. We
personally accept Jesus Christ as our Savior and Lord the only
virgin-born Son of God. We accept Him in His sinless life and ministry,
His vicarious atonement, His resurrection from the tomb, His present
intercession in Heaven, and His imminent visible return. We
personally accept the Bible as God's infallible Word, uniquely
inspired, the Spirit's supreme and final authority for man in all
matters of faith and conduct, His sustenance for every believer. We
personally accept the Great Commission of our Lord Jesus Christ as an
invitation to everyone to live a life of full and daily surrender to
Him who loved us and gave Himself for us. This involves surrendering
personal ambitions and possessions in an unreserved commitment to take
the Gospel through "all the world to every creature". The
Baptism in the Holy Ghost. The baptism of the Holy Spirit is a
distinct experience subsequent to Salvation (Acts 8:12-17) providing
power for life and service, the bestowment of gifts, and the uses of
the gifts in the work of the ministry. (Luke 24:49) (1 Cor 12:1-3) The
evidence of the Baptism of the Holy Ghost: The baptism of believers in
the Holy Ghost is witnessed by the initial physical sign of speaking
in tongues as the spirit gives utterance.
